What’s the latest I can order a ticket online?
There is no deadline however our advice is to book quick as spaces are limited! Bookings taken after 15th April 2011 will not be posted out so please keep your email confirmation and bring it with you along with a form of identification that contains your address
Do I receive a ticket?
You will not receive a paper ticket. You will be sent a unique wristband which acts as your ticket for the duration of your stay. Please keep your wristband on at all times as you are required to scan in and out of the campsite.
How will I receive my camping wristband?
If you book before 15th April your wristband will be posted to you using Royal Mail recorded delivery to the address specified when booking. All deliveries require a signature.
Any bookings made after 15thApril will not be posted out. Please bring your email confirmation with you to the Camp reception desk where you will be issued with your wristband(s).
Should I bring my email confirmation?
Yes, just in case you lose your wristband.
Can I pay on the door?
Yes subject to availability. We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment
What if I lose my wristband?
Please keep your wristbands safe as without it you will not be allowed access to the campsite. We can replace lost wristbands however please note replacement wristbands will incur a charge of £5.00 per wristband replaced.
Please note any wristbands reported lost or stolen will automatically be cancelled and will not gain access to the campsite.
Will I be able to get in and out of the campsite whenever I like?
Yes – as long as you have your wristband! The wristband uses the latest RFID technology which ensures each wristband is unique. You are simply required to scan your wristband when you enter or leave the site through the security gates
I’ve bought a ticket but now I can’t come. Can I get a refund?
Sorry we do not issue refunds
Can I book for one or two nights?
We only have the one price of £75.00 which gives you three nights accommodation. It’s up to you when you arrive and when you leave (as long as it is between 12:00 Thursday 28th April and 13:00 Sunday 1st May!)
Is there a car park?
No, sorry there is no parking available. Parking in or around ClaphamCommon is difficult at the best of times, we strongly advise using the great transport links that serve Clapham Common – check out our location page [insert link] for more info.

When can I check in?
You can check in anytime from Midday on Thursday 28th April
What time is the latest check out?
All guests required to leave site by 13:00 on Sunday 1st May
Are there disabled entrances?
Yes. All our entrances are suitable for disabled access.
Can we bring dogs in?
Guide dogs only.
Are children allowed into the event?
Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by a guardian (18 or over) at all times.
Only children aged 2 and under will be admitted free of charge, otherwise you will need a full price ticket for everyone attending.
Can I bring instruments on site?
No, sorry. We have to be considerate to all guests and our local residents so please keep all instruments at home
Will there be catering facilities at Camp Royale
Yes there will be catering provisions on site. ClaphamCommon is also close to loads of great bars, cafes & restaurants to keep you going through the celebrations. Our Friends at Yorkshire Tea are also providing free cups of tea for all our guests so you can wake up every morning with a proper brew!
Can we bring our own food and drink into the campsite?
Yes, you can bring your own food and drink on to the campsite. Please be aware no glass, cooking equipment or gas is allowed on site and any such items will be confiscated on entry. Please respect the Common & keep it tidy using the bins provided.
Will we be sheltered from the rain?
We advise you to come prepared for all weather. If it does rain use the opportunity to explore Clapham’s multitude of great cafes, bars & restaurants or Central London’s museums or exhibitions – many are free admission!
Is the site safe and secure?
Your safety is our priority. We have a fully fenced area which is manned by security 24 / 7. Only campers at Camp Royale will be allowed on site. Please be aware Camp Royale accepts no responsibility for items lost or stolen on site. Please leave your non essential valuables at home and stick to some of our simple guidelines
If you can’t take your valuables with you when you leave the tent, leave them at home.
Put money, tickets, credit cards and mobile phones in a zipped pocket or use a money belt.
Do not bring large sums of cash. Only bring what you need and keep it on you at all times.
Is there anywhere to leave bags or valuable items?
Sorry we currently do not have facilities to store valuables so leave all non essential valuables at home
Are we allowed cameras on site?
Yes but please remember to keep your valuables safe.
Are fires allowed on site?
No. Fires are strictly forbidden. Anyone found lighting a fire will be asked to leave the site
Can I bring my camping stove?
No sorry. Gas canisters & camping stoves are strictly forbidden.
Do I need to bring a tent?
Yes! But remember only bring a tent to reflect the numbers sharing. Please be considerate to other guests by not taking over their space with a large tent.
Due to limited space, 4 person tents will be the largest allowed with no provisions for awnings/extension tents
What should I pack?
Your tent
A torch
Sun cream.
British weather is unpredictable so pack clothes for wet weather, warm weather and cold weather.
Sleeping bag and bedding.
Will I be able to get cash out on site?
No although there are cash machines close to Clapham Common Tube only 250m away
Can I charge up my mobile phone?
Yes, there are charging points on site so don’t panic about running out of battery.
Is there a lost and found area?
Yes. Lost and found is located at reception
If you find something please be considerate and hand it in to one of our friendly Camp Royale staff or take it to reception
Do you have medics on site?
Yes. We have a team of dedicated medics on site to assist with any situation so don’t worry!
